Balanced Diet for children ( school going children) Balanced diet includes all food groups in a day's menu. School going children need high energy and high protein for their growth and development. Apart from that vitamins and minerals also important for their immunity capacity. I have planned, Early morning - Beetroot juice Breakfast - Masala dosa with chutney Mid morning - Fruits one bowl Lunch -Vegetable pulav, egg/fish/chicken, Curd, fruit Evening - Dumplings Dinner - Idly with mushroom gravy Bedtime - herbal and spice tea for better digestion. This menu includes all food group and helps to satisfy daily requirement of the school going children.
